Cadborosaurus

Canadian cryptozoologists are all very familiar with this beast, which supposedly has been seen many times off the coast of Brittish Colombia. There are hundreds of witnesses of this animal, though little hard evidence exists. One big piece of evidence, in fact the only one, is an unknown carcass removed from the stomach of a local whale. Cadborosaurus is similar to a conventional sea serpent but not to any known animal. It drags its long body straight through the water, while its head and neck extend upwards from it a number of feet. Sporadic sighting sprees occur every couple of decades, sometimes more often, but this animal is not commonly seen enough to distance it from other local legends.
