Nidhogg, in Norse mythology, is the dragon at Yggdrasil's root: a huge beast that gnaws at the world tree, hoping to destroy all life in the universe. Its name means "eater of corpses," and the unpleasant nature of this creature matches its name. For all eternity this winged, orange monstrosity will try to consume Earth, until the day of Ragnarok. At this time, after all gods and monsters have killed one another, Nidhogg will rise above the carnage before sinking back into the depths of chaos.
I was wondering when we'd be seeing a dragon! Cool.
