The Mngwa, like the Marozi, is an African mystery cat. Its name means "the strange one," and it mainly haunts Tanzania. Tracks and fur samples were obtained after this creature was credited for maiming several natives, and it was clear from the fur samples that the Mngwa is a new species, not a man-eating lion. The Mngwa tracks obtained are very similar to those of a leopard, but larger. It is smaller than a lion, only the size of a donkey, but this cat is reputedly very ferocious. Due to its similarities and differences to many African cats, it is likely that this beast is a new species if it exists at all. It is very unlikely that one subspecies of anything would incorporate the foot structure of a leopard, the ferocity of a lion, and the sleek agility of a cheetah. One thing is for sure: this cryptid has left a lot of evidence that it exists, and that it is a very dangerous beast for sure.
