Trolls

In Norse Mythology, trolls are shaggy, ugly, multiheaded giants that live in icy mountains and deep caves. They are incredibly strong but nearly witless, and they are easily outsmarted. The trolls were created by Ymir, as were the jotuns, but they are very different creatures. Trolls usually have six to 100 heads, and they are covered in shaggy brown hair. Sometimes they posess multiple heads as well. They are phsically powerful and can easily lift boulders and other massive objects. However, they have a critical weakness: the rays of the sun turn them into stone. At Ragnarok, all of the trolls were destroyed by the Norse gods, and their kind no longer attacked gods and mortals alike.
