The Barmanou is an Asian cryptid hominid, a primate that is a true biped. It lives in Afghanistan and Pakistan and is frequently seen by shepherds. It lives in between the ranges of the Almas and the Yeti, two other hominid cryptids, so it may be a subspecies of either or a new species entirely. The Barmanou is reportedly more similar to humans than other cryptid bipeds, for it is occasionally seen wearing animal furs and it has on occasion attempted to mate with humans as well. Due to these traits, the Barmanou may also be simply a population of hairy wildmen.
